Dr. Isaacs
Dr. Karla Isaacs graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. She speaks Spanish fluently and has the opportunity to practice it every day. She then attended Howard University College of Dentistry where she graduated with an honors award in Prosthodontics. That is where she developed an interest in Orthodontics. She helped to conduct several research studies with the orthodontic post graduate residents. Dr. Isaacs then did her general practice residency at Harlem Hospital Medical Center where she gained an invaluable amount of experience managing a wide variety of injuries of the head and neck. In her second year of General Practice Residency, she was promoted to Chief Resident. Dr. Isaacs gained entrance to Columbia University College of Dentistry where she completed her orthodontic residency. She taught residents at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center shortly after that. Dr. Isaacs comes to our company with a wealth of experience as she maintained licensure and practice in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania for a number of years. She currently practices in New York, Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey. With almost fifteen years of experience there isn’t much that she can’t handle.
Dr. Patel
Hetal Patel is a board-certified pediatric dentist. She grew up in Florence, NJ and was valedictorian in high school. Upon graduating high school, she accepted admission to a highly competitive seven-year accelerated BA/DMD program affiliated with the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM). She then went on to complete a rigorous two-year pediatric dentistry program at NYU Lutheran Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Patel is trained in various modes of behavior management and evidence-based dentistry. Her gentle and compassionate tone will allow your child to feel comfortable throughout the appointment. One of her main goals as a pediatric dentist is to have every child leave with a happy experience and a smile on their face. This enables her to create a long-lasting and trusting relationship with every child and parent. She is very passionate about her field, and her love of kids becomes evident as you watch her treat your child.
In their free time, Dr. Patel and her husband enjoy traveling, bicycling, trying new restaurants, and watching sports games together. She looks forward to coming back and serving the community she grew up in!
